◎用法
allow作动词，意为“允许”，常用句型：
►allow sb. to do sth. 允许某人做某事
如：My parents don’t allow me to hang out with my friends. 我父母不允许我和我的朋友们一起闲逛。(教材P25)
►allow doing sth. 允许做某事
如：This hospital doesn’t allow smoking. 这个医院不允许吸烟。
►sb. be allowed to do sth. 某人被允许做某事
如：Am I allowed to have my own bank account? 我可以有自己的银行账户吗？
