每年的 11 月第四个星期四就是美国 的 Thanksgiving Day ，也就是感恩节。几百 年前，远渡重洋来到美洲的英国移民，为了感 谢上帝赐予的丰收，进行的狂欢活动，从此习 俗延续了下来，并逐渐风行各地。林肯总统把 感恩节定为国定节日，届时，举国同庆。
