摘要:A production apparatus of an interior trim component covered with a surfaceskin material (53,54) having a plurality of different portions in such a manner that eachboundary line of the different portions is hidden in a groove or valley provided in thesubstrate of the trim component, which includes a pair of confronted molding dies(10,20), a carrying-in device (40) for introducing the surface skin material (53,54) into aspace between the confronted molding dies in such a manner that the boundary line (55)of the surface skin material is positioned in engagement with the corresponding internalprojection (22) formed on a molding surface of either one of molding dies, a thrustmechanism including a thrust member (35) assembled within the other molding die to beprojected from its molding surface toward the internal projection (22) of the confrontedmolding die and retractable therefrom and an actuator mounted to the other moldingdie for forwarding the thrust member (35) toward the internal projection (22) so that adistal end of the thrust member is brought into engagement with the boundary line (55)of the surface skin material (53,54) to retain the surface skin material in place on theinternal projection (22) of the confronted molding die, an injection device mounted to theother molding die for injecting melted synthetic resin into a space between the moldingdies clamped with each other to form the substrate of the trim component with thesurface skin material, wherein the carrying-in device (40) is operated to introduce thesurface skin material (53,54) into the space between the confronted molding dies andretracted to the exterior after the thrust member (35) was brought into engagementwith the boundary line (55) of the surface skin material, and wherein the thrust member(35) is maintained in engagement with the surface skin material (53,54) until the meltedsynthetic resin is injected by operation of the injection device.
