摘要：A die casting machine having a frame comprising two connecting rods (35, 36),two side platens (26, 27), a moving platen (45), connecting rod apertures in said movingplaten, a moving platen drive (32) and two dies (100, 101), wherein one side platen isconnected to the two connecting rods, the other side platen is connected to theopposite ends of the two connecting rods, the moving platen is guided by said twoconnecting rods for movement towards or away from respective side platens by saidmoving platen drive, one die mounted on one face of the moving platen and the other diemounted on the inside face of one side platen, all said platens being located in parallelplanes at right angles to the center-line of the machine, the two connecting rods, themoving platen drive and the dies being in a common plane passing through thelongitudinal centerline of the die casting machine.
