a solar panel 70 and storage battery 60, a time information adjustment unit 25 that keepstime, a reception timing determination unlit 24 that operates the satellite signalreception unit 10A, receives a satellite signal, and acquires leap second informationcontained in the satellite signal, and a reception determination unit 23 that detects theremaining capacity of the storage battery 60. When the remaining battery capacitymeasured by the reception determination unit 23 is greater than or equal to a specificvalue, the reception timing determination unit 24 sets the reception frequency forreceiving a satellite signal higher than when the remaining battery capacity is less thanthe specific value.
